Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Artem Grebenkin, the developer of the Bocco app (“Bocco”, “we”, “us”), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. They govern your use of the Bocco app and website. Please read them โ€” by using Bocco you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing or using Bocco, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Bocco.

2. What Bocco is

Bocco is an AI-assisted calorie and nutrition tracker. You can log meals by photo, by description, by scanning a nutrition label, or by searching a food database; Bocco estimates the calories and macronutrients, shows your daily budget and your weight trend, and lets you save and re-log meals.

3. Who can use Bocco

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Bocco.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the information you put into your profile. Please keep your details accurate, use one account per person, and let us know at support@bocco.app if you think someone else is using your account.

5. Subscriptions, free trial & billing

Bocco offers an auto-renewable subscription at $10 per month or $40 per year, usually starting with a 1-week free trial. Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store, not directly by us.

6. Acceptable use

Please use Bocco fairly. Don't misuse the service โ€” for example, don't try to reverse-engineer or copy it, scrape or overload our systems or AI endpoints, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use Bocco to break the law or infringe others' rights.

7. Health & nutrition โ€” important disclaimer

Bocco's calorie and nutrition figures are AI-generated estimates for general information only, and they can be wrong. Bocco is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary or health advice. Always use your own judgement and consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet or health โ€” especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a medical condition. Don't rely on Bocco for medical decisions, and don't ignore professional advice because of something you saw in the app.

8. Intellectual property & your content

Bocco โ€” its name, logo, design and software โ€” belongs to us, and you get a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own use. The data you log (your meals, photos and profile) remains yours; you give us permission to process it only to provide Bocco to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

Bocco relies on third parties (such as Apple, Google/Gemini and our infrastructure providers). Their own terms also apply to those parts of the service, and we're not responsible for third-party services we don't control. See our Privacy Policy for the list of providers.

10. Apple's standard licence (EULA)

Your licence to use the Bocco app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “standard EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These Terms add to that agreement; if there's a conflict about the app licence itself, Apple's standard EULA applies to that point.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Bocco is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on Bocco's estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you can't waive under the law that applies to you.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using Bocco and delete your account at any time, which erases your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse the service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence (for example, in the EU or Italy).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Bocco evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date, and your continued use of Bocco means you accept the updated Terms.
